12 Reasons to welcome in 2022 with COGO

1. London’s only indoor festival this New Year’s Eve

Summer 2021 witnessed the return of mass gatherings. As restrictions eased, we swiftly waved goodbye to crowding in the comments of live-streams and upgraded it with those longed-for feel-good festival vibes. COGO New Year’s Eve invites you to enrich your memorable collection of gleeful 2021 moments one final time at London’s only indoor festival. Get lost across 4 rooms of music in this epic venue, as we’re joined by a captivating series of talents and magical midnight moments.

2. The first ever NYE event at Tobacco Dock

With a huge backlog of sell out, dancefloor filling events, including our very own COGO debut back in 2019, we return to East London’s premier event space for an unprecedented New Year’s Party. Each arena of the Grade I listed warehouse will create its own unmatched atmosphere, setting the bar and marking the beginning of a momentous year ahead.

3. Share the much-missed NYE atmosphere with 6000 like-minded party goers.

At COGO there’s twice the reason to party – staying in is so last year! Unite with friends, old and new as our wondrous line-up assists in providing soul-stirring and care-free solutions. Be sure to surrender to the contagious euphoria of the crowd and indulge in those final dancefloor shenanigans one last time for 2021, before ordering your favourite drink (or two!) ahead of Dry January...

4. There’s something for everyone – Whether your favourite is House, Garage or Bass.

All dance music is to be celebrated, sharing one common denominator… they know how to start a party! From untarnished house melodies, to prodigious garage anthems and the deep exquisite frequencies of bass, COGO certainly isn’t one to discriminate. Whatever your preferred genre we’ve got you covered, but only if you’re willing to come on a journey with us as we kickstart 2022.

5. Expect some huge moments across all rooms as the clock strikes midnight.

As time descends closer to the midnight mark and a fusion of exhilarated uproar erupts in the venue, an excursion of inexpressible revels awaits. If you thought the party had begun prior to this, you were wrong. Come midnight we’re going to take it up another level. What’s that old saying? We’ll be starting the year as we mean to go on...

6. Watch Rudimental DJ make their long-anticipated Tobacco Dock debut

Given their globally recognised drum and bass meets British pop culture reputation, Rudimental will cause mass mayhem as the new year commences. Envision your surroundings as infamous chart-topping tracks ‘Waiting all night’, ‘Feel the love’ and ‘Not giving in’ soar through the venue. Take in the rhythmic pleasures of their latest release ‘Ground Control’ which features an impressive variety of collaborations, as the foursome make their debut at Tobacco Dock.

7. Jounce the year away with Jax Jones

We’re joined by the brilliant beat maker and multi-instrumental artist Jax Jones. Since arriving on the scene in 2014 with notorious deep house track ‘I Got U’, he unravelled his extensive musical diet with his impressive catalogue of releases. Expect an endless and synchronised breakout of floor stomping as the year draws to a close. Including his recent collaboration ‘OUT OUT’ with fellow COGO NYE artist Joel Corry.

8. Experience the chart-topping dance floor fillers of Joel Corry, fresh from his sold-out UK tour and Printworks show

With a notable run of sell out shows in his UK tour, Joel Corry concludes a victorious year with his Tobacco Dock debut. Guaranteed foot-stomping beats will have you bobbing your way into new beginnings, as the widely experienced adversity of earlier this year seems nothing but a distant memory. It’s safe to say, Joel Corry will be imprinting on each and everyone’s ‘Head and Heart’ as crowds unify amongst the magic.

9. Get lively with the one and only Bad Boy Chiller Crew

If there’s anyone that can escalate the triumphant roars of an audience, it’s Bradford’s bassline collective. Given their impressive releases on Ministry of Sound and Relentless Records, shortly after emerging on the scene, it’s undeniable that the energy levels at COGO will only transcend. Their NYE performance is not to be missed.

10. Celebrate with KISS and their residents, Majestic and SHOSH, who have kept us smiling and cheerful throughout the past 2 years.

UK’s go-to radio station, KISS FM have kept us entertained throughout the last two years and we cannot wait to usher in the New Year with a live broadcast from Tobacco Dock. Be a part of the magical moment as we, and the nation, countdown to midnight in London’s only indoor festival. Bringing their multitude of dance genres to our stacked lineup will be KISS FM residents Joel Corry, Majestic and SHOSH for a night of guaranteed energy and musical magnificence.

11. Discover the stars of tomorrow as we bring forth some of the UK’s most exciting emerging talent: Endor, Elliot Adamson, Emily Nash, Tate Flowers, Noudle, Edie.
