The man, the myth, the enigma with the golden mask, Claptone brings his esteemed party series The Masquerade back to the Capital for the most harrowing, haunted spectacle this Halloween.
His rise in the electronic circle has been a fable comparative to none. From frequenting DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ awards to racking up over 300 million streams and counting, Claptone continues to define the modern dancefloor with his distinguished style. Coming off the back of a huge summer residency at Pacha Ibiza, we present the next chapter in Claptone’s meteoric rise… London’s biggest indoor festival this Halloween.
The Masquerade is the highly acclaimed party series from the masked doctor himself, welcoming only the wildest into his otherworld. Find your happy place where the craziest ideas and the grandest dreams lie waiting, a place where wonders abound for those who trust their imagination.
This Halloween provides the perfect playground to be a part of this freak circus as The Masquerade gets set for the biggest ever event in the UK. Set in London’s most cavernous multi room venue, Tobacco Dock will be transformed into an immersive stronghold where a collection of otherworldly characters will turn this world upside down in an excessive, hedonistic frenzy.
Joining Claptone will be over 25 of the scene’s brightest DJs, including:
Faithless (DJ), one of the defining electronic acts of the last three decades, who is responsible for some of the greatest dance tracks of all time, Fat Tony, one of the party scene’s most notoriously hedonistic DJs, Brooklyn legend Todd Terry, Nothing Else Matters’ head honcho Danny Howard, Paul Woolford, one of house music’s most colourful hitmakers and a hero of the underground, longtime Radio 1 presenter/fan-favourite Arielle Free and Australian duo Bag Raiders.
These heavy-hitters are joined by Dombresky, whose remix of A-Trak’s ‘We All Fall Down’ still sets dancefloors alight today, hitmaker Jacques Lu Cont, London icon Jodie Harsh and Spinnin’ Records affiliate KC Lights.
Alongside these industry mainstays will be rising stars Melle Brown, Jess Bays and AmyElle, who have all had bumper 2022s, playing slots at some of the most coveted stages in the world. Universal Language founder Coco Cole also joins the bill alongside Katie Goodman, Krner Shop Radio founder Storm Mollison and Tonci.
From behind the mask, imagination runs into overtime. In order to glimpse at the marvels that lie below the surface, just close our eyes, listen and dance. Lose yourself in a sonic realm conducted by over 25 of the scene’s biggest DJs and, of course, the masked man himself.
